post closed.Highlight in some way?
« on: Monday 26 September 05 21:35 BST (UK) »
I have just spent some time restoring a photo as
requested. When i went to post my effort,I find
that the request  is closed.( I know it's all good practice)
It's very annoying as I could have spent the time doing
something else. It is probably my fault for not noticing
that it had been closed.
 That's my moan for today.

Hi Tomkin

I have been away for a couple of days so I'm a bit slow replying. I wasn't aware that posts were closed on this board. I have marked some of my posts complete when I felt I had had a fair share of peoples help and did not expect anyone else to spend time on my photos when they could help someone else maybe in greater need.

If it is one of mine I would love to see the result as all contributions are greatly appreciated. If it is not one of mine I will remain confused.

No Jane,
It was not one of yours. It may have
been closed accidentally at a time that I wanted
a good moan. I was only wondering if there was
a system for the closing of a posting. As I said it
was a good practice so nothing wasted.
Hope you had a good time & don't
take any notice of me,I'm just a crotchety old sod.
all the best,
Tomkin.
