Hi

I have a Bible which was presented with the following inscription:

Mary Galley Book
The gift of the Wesleyan Sunday School Teachers
Mosbro'
Aug 11th 1850

The Bible does not include any other records but does contain a photograph of a young woman who I assume is Mary Galley Book, the photographer is JJ Gascoigne of Mosborough.

I did wonder if the Wesleyan Chapel at Mosborough still
exists if so there may be further information i.e. headstone for Mary.

If anyone has an interest in these items please let me know

Hi
I also have a bible presented by Mrs Galley for Sunday School at St Giles Killamarsh (next village to Mosborough) mine was presented in 1892 to Charlotte Spooner.  Perhaps she went to different churches for Sunday school.
Will check if church in Mosborough still there as I am in next village.
