Sheehan's in Dungarvan

Hi.  Having trouble with one of my ancestors due to the parish records not existing anymore.  His name was Daniel Sheehan born 1833 in Dungarvan, Waterford according to his army records.  His father's name was Michael, no idea about his mother.  He joined the Indian Army in Cork in March 1852 and sailed on the "Verner".  Any information any one can add will be greatly appreciated.

there are several sheehans living in the town of Dungarvan, if you go to www.waterfordcoco.ie click on the County library page. In there you will find the death registar 1864-1901. griffiths primary valuations, and the current registar of electors which will feature all the Sheehans in the County.
