saying hi again!

Hi all,
Ive been away from family history for about a month. Im trying to get back into it to get it finished (although I don't ever think that quite happens!) but am lacking the get up and go required!!
Any tips on getting back into it and picking it up where you left last time!!
Thanks,
Kim

Kim...li'l sister,
Keep calm girl!! Relax and begin deep breathing and chant " I can do this...I can do this" Julie Andrews had the same problem but she used to sing a little ditty "...just start at the very beginning, a very good place to start"
etc
Seriously, I think it's good to get a break from it. It allows you to come back with a fresh mind on some aspects..relax and just enjoy it.
Best

Welcome back Kim,
After doing all the things Rog suggested
If you haven't already done so, start by reading through all you have and organising it. Maybe starting a card index on all the names you have (keep meaning to do that myself) putting all documents in a file etc etc. Make a 'to do' list as you are going along, like. 'need to find John Smith in 1851'. In short, use the opportunity to get organised on paper as well in your mind. Then start asking Rooschatters for that missing piece of information
Happy Hunting,
Jane
