Welcome to jatcc2! You left long before I arrived in '62. Did you know John McShane and Spud Murphy from the tape room? Also Larry Saxton and Tommy Tomkinson? If I remember rightly No 6 Avery Square later was John Sergison. I did not move into No 1 till '65.

I have vivid memories of all the tape relay Xmas messages hung all around the tape room at Xmas in 62. I was in awe of the skill and the number of themes that were converted by message tape. Any pictures of those typ0e of things in yuour archives?

Welcome to the club!

Hi to everyone.

I am sorry I have been AWOL for a while.  Work has been manic and no time for anything else.  It is a bit quieter now but the backlog of other 'things' is high.  Don't know where to start really so thought I would see how you are all getting on.

I will try to post some newspaper articles but not too sure how legible they will be.

I might have missed it but what happened to Greyhound? Is he/she lurking or given up on us all?  LOL.

Off to find news cuttings!

Lynn

Sorry, despite removing the text, the system won't allow the cutting to be posted.  It isn't very big so I don't understand why it has been rejected.

I could make it smaller but it would just be a blur.  Sorry.
