Looking to find anyone else researching the name of Whitfield in Lancashire, particularly Preston.

Associated names Moss, Kellett, Hodgson, Mainwaring amongst others

What years does your Research into the Whitefield take you ?

Have you managed to locate them in the Census returns?

I have found my Whitfields in the 1881, 1891 and 1901 in Lancashire.  Still hoping to find them in the 1871.

My main interest is Richard Whitfield (my Grandfather) who was living in Preston from sometime after the 1901 (in Leeds) until his death in 1948.  From a second marriage in 1922 to Annie Moss he had one child, my father.

Three children from his former marriage lived in Preston but I have drawn a blank in finding siblings.

If by any chance you live in Preston yourself and are interested in Whitfield a Kenneth Whitfield died there in the last 3 months (so I am told) I would very much like to know who he was.
