Lookup request for Harris and or Jones

I am just starting to try and research my Welsh roots, (what a nightmare) I did'nt know there were so many Jones's.My grandmother Mary Ann Jones, on her death certificate it states she was born in May 1889, in Mynyddygowey, I can't find this on any maps. she died on 13th December 1970,She married William Harris, but I have no idea when or where, he died in the late 1950's. They had 5 children  Phillys,Vaughan, Nancy, Haydon, and David,I don't have any dates for these children. On my parents marriage certificate it states that my grandfather was a colliery forman. Hope someone out there can help me get on the first rung of my search ladder. Many thanks

I had a look about for you and I think I found the right family. Perhaps someone could look the 1901 census up for this record:

William Jones  45 Glamorgan Dowlais Carmarthen St Mary Kidwelly Engine Driver At Tinplate Wks

There are a number of children and Mary is 12 in 1901 b Carmarthen Kidwelly
Also a Cordelia 2 months etc

This is probably Wm Jones 1881 - he is an engine driver as in 1901:

Hi Jocelyn, all my father brothers and sisters have passed on. I have managed to contact a second cousin, but he had even less information than me.He had no information about grandparents. The stumbling block seems to be the Harris side of the family, I have no information about William Harris at all. he only information I have is form memory, as I was only a child when he died, my memory is a little hazy. The address I had for my grandparents was 15 Heol Morlais, Trimsaran, Nr Kidwelly. I hav'nt been able to find Trimsaran on any maps, I know it did exist because I lived with them during WW2 instead of being evacuated. I live in the south of England and have no contact with any living relatives.
