I am looking for information on Jonathan Davenport who married Ann Garner in Wilmslow in 1787. There is a death recorded for a Jonathan in 1848, aged 85, meaning he would have been born around 1763. The marriage entry says he is from Bowden. The only Jonathan I can find born around that time is one from Over Peover, born 1763 the son of John.
There is a John born 1728 who married a Mary Baddsley in 1750. Were they the parents of Jonathan?
The John born 1728 was the son of John.
Is anyone else working on this line or can anyone help in any way please?
