Thanks for the info Katiebee, I havn't a clue where the Drurys came from. one person in my family say they were travllers with a fair ground attraction. one says they came from north Lincolnshire and somebody else told me they came from Yorkshire. All I know is that one married  an Emma Duncombe in 1907 but there is no details on any of the data bases for a Joseph Drury with a father of the same name round about the time I am looking for.

Hi Ricky1

I have Drury in my family tree coming from the  lincon area and also into norfolk but the surname has changed over time to Deary then to Derry so this could also be a possiblity to look at when you get the chance.

Sorry to but even more spanners into the search.

I'd forgotten about this one Ricky - it seems it was the day after you registered with RC and I'd only been around for a few months.  We were kids weren't we?  Well, not exactly ;)

Come to think of it, I have DREWRYs back in the 1700s.
