HENRY & SARAH BUDDEN
« on: Thursday 13 October 05 13:59 BST (UK) »
Henry ( Born c 1856 in Dorset) and Sarah ( Born c 1854 in Hampshire) were living in Bournemouth UK in 1901. I understand that they emigrated to America, possibly with their grandson William. How can I confirm this with so little information available ? ???

Regards,
Geoff

Hello again Valerie,

I have now found out that Arthur William L Budden who was either the son or grandson of Henry & Sarah was also recorded in America in Saginaw. I presume he went with Henry, Sarah & Harry but where was he in the 1920 census ?
Would it be possible to find him ?
He married Katherine Holliday and was born in England in 1897. He was recorded as Loring Budden & Loring W Budden.
If you can help I would be most grateful.
Regards,
Geoff.

Loring W age 22 is found in 1920 in Saginaw Ward 19, Saginaw, Michigan

He immigrated in 1900/1910 according to this census report.

He is naturalized, the date is blurry, looks like 1909 but that is a bit out of whack as he'd have been too young.. it could be 1919... and that would make more sense! In any case, you can get help with nat. records at http://naturalizationrecords.com/

Family: his wife Kathrine age 20

He's still in Saginaw, Saginaw, Michigan in 1930 with wife Cathrine and children  Harry, Ruth, Jean, and his parents (labelled as such!) Henry and Sarah

Henry - 77
Sarah - 75

Immigration years in 1930 census are 1910 for Loring and parents, only Loring is naturalized
