Looking for : Albert MORRIS born c  1850 Isle of Wight / Whippenham
on the 1871 Census or earlier please.

Have him  in Portsea with Wife Alice born c 1854 Cheriton, on the 1881/91/1901 Census.
Occupation Greengrocer in 1901/1891, Dock Labourer in 1881.

The next closest to this born Isle of White was in 1846 as Grandson.

Looks a possibility, thanks.

Trying to tie' Albert Morris' in with my husbands Grandmother :
 'Alice Margaret Morris' born July 1892 Coast Guard Station, Sandgate  Kent (just before a Landslip in early 1893).

1901 ' Alice' aged 8,  is with 'Albert Morris' in Portsea, described as a visitor.
1901, Alice's  father 'John Morris' born c1859 Liverpool' is at the Coast Guard Station in Lymington, with Alice's Step Mother, 'Sarah'.  Occupation Boatman RN.

1891 John is in Cheriton with 1st Wife 'Esther',  Boatman RN

1881 I think he is at sea on the 'Superb'. Don't have him any earlier.

Wondering if John and Albert where brother's and so perhaps help get back a bit further?

Thats not a problem.

That's a Strange one! I would have thought if John and Albert were brothers then they should be together on the 1861 going off their birthdates. Although they are not always accurate. I will have another on the 1871 and see what I can find.

I've had a look for Albert on the 1871, but not having much luck in finding him with the same birthdate or birthplace.
