1841 Sussex Census look up pls Burchell

Hi

I would be very grateful for any information on Rachell Burchel, born circa 1827 in Pluborough, Sussex.  I believe that she remained in Sussex as she married a Joseph Bridger born in Eastergate, 1823.  I am hoping to trace Rachell's parents.

Hi Katie,

Its really kind of you to reply so quickly.  I don't think that it can be the right Rachel because she had a child in 1869, when she would have been 41/42 even with my 1827 birth year.  However, its interesting to see so many Burchells in Pullborough, I'll look into them further.

These could be her parents and brother at the same address.  However, if the IGI is correct, they are more likely to be her grandparents with mother, also Rachel, being about 16 when she had Rachel junior.  Furthermore, a Rachel Burchell married in Pulborough in 1834:

I take it that you don't have Rachel and Joseph's marriage certifice (Chichester, Mar 1849, Vol 7, Page 377) - this might have her father's name (or someone she claims as her father, of course).
