Hi Margaret,
Well I think we can throw out the 1801 marriage because your Ann would be too young since she was born about 1790 going on her age on the census.
So I found two definite Robert & Ann CHEW families in Filey on the IGI. I think the Robert CHEW & Ann HICKS is the Lebberston one. They married in 1809 and had children, John 1810, John 1811, James 1814, Robert 1815, Hannah 1817 & George 1818 all born at Filey.
I think your family is the Ann PARKINSON one. She was [c] 16th Oct 1791 Filey, parents John PARKINSON & Ann HAGGIT. Other children for them were, Jackson 1790 & Rachael 1793. Jackson is on the 1841 census living at:
Parkinsons Yard
PARKINSON Jackson 50 Ag Lab
Frances 50
Frances 15
Henry 8
Rachel 5
Jackson married Frances FRANK in 1816 in Filey and there are quite a few other children for them on the IGI including James who is living with grandpa William FRANK in 1841. Frances FRANK [c] 17th Dec 1793 Filey- father William.
Cliff
FRANK William 75 Ag Lab
PARKINSON James 10 Saddler App
I am not sure if and how the two Robert Chews connect but hope this helps. I have a lot of family in Filey, mainly SCALES & BAYES.
Sandra
