1890 & 1900 U.S. census (I believe Ohio) lookup John Brown Robertson
« on: Saturday 22 October 05 16:24 BST (UK) »
I'm hoping someone can help me with lookups on the 1890 and 1900 U.S. censuses: John Brown Robertson & wife Margaret (nee Johnston) were born in Scotland about 1850 - 58. They were married in Cruden Aberdeenshire in 1877 and had a daughter Margaret who was born in 1879 at Aberdeen. The family immigrated to the U.S.A. about 1880 and had several other children born in the U.S....among them Blanche b: 1884, Walter b: 1887, and John Brown Robertson b: 1890. Both parents died and by the 1901 Aberdeenshire census the above four children were sent to Scotland to live with relatives. Other children born in the U.S. remained and were raised there. I'm trying to identify the children that remained and were raised in the U.S. Thanks,  Jim
