wondering if you could do a search for a Jean Scott married name Meldrum.

she is in the 1881 as being 74 years of age under name of Jean Scott.

Also looking for a Robert Meldrum born in Collessie 1828. All i can find is one born in Leuchars but i don't think it is a match as those parents died really early and i know mine was still around in 1881.

Info i have Robert born Collessie 1828 Mother Jean Scott and James Meldrum. (on his death certificate) father was a coachman domestic servant

Margaret Meldrum grandmother widow aged 74 born Pittenweem was with Robert Meldrum in the 1851 census but cannot find mother.

Any help would be great. I did find another family but the dates don't add up

Millar, Laing, Meldrum,Birrel (Edinburgh, Fife)
Brown, Erskine, Barclay (Fife)
Gibb, Simpson, Robb, Adam (Inverurie, Aberdeen)
Jaffray, McKenzie Rogers (Aberdeen)
Badger (Scotland)

Hello Fify, I am very new to this but would love to find out more of my Scottish ancestors. My great grandfather Colin THOM was born (I think) in Fife, certainly Perthshire in 1832. His father was William & mother Mary nee Lockhart. Do not know if he had siblings. He came to New Zealand we think in the 1860s but we can not find out how he came. No boat records that we can find. What we really want to know is more about his parents William & Mary. Can you please help?
My email address is not working at the moment sorry.

Hi, I'm wondering if you can help with this please

I have this from SP but there seems to be no image with it.
I'd like to know who else is listed and whether I have the right Christian Burt born Falkirk.

1 1851 BURT CHRISTIAN F 23 DUNFERMLINE /FIFE 424/00 003/00 004 No Image ORDER

There may be some connection here between an Andrew Burt and Ann Toshack married in Dunfermline...haven't quite worked it out yet

Thank you, Sylvia

Hi

To Everyone wanted a lookup i will see what i can do havent been able to go the last 2 weeks hoping to go back next week if i can get booked in.Sorry to those of you you asked reciently will get to yours first when i go.

To Ladybird
I wont be able to check image for for this im afraid as they only start from 1855 the only way you will be able to see it is to order the image from edinburgh im afraid.
the only thing i can do if its a marriage is to search the opr's it may list if they were from the parish and may list wittness's witch may give you clues.

Let me know if you would like me to check that for you.
