Flintshire / Where is Owen Buried ??
« on: Sunday 13 January 13 16:16 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all,

Im trying to find out where Owen Jones b1838, Died 20th Feb 1888. is buried, I have from the FindMyPast parish records his burial at Mold, would this be the parish church or a cemetary?

im hoping to find out who if anyone is buried with him, as im struggling to find his parents deaths, as you can imagine the Jones name is like a needle in a haystack, I do have them up to 1861 census, and Owen is living back in the same house from the 1881 census, but can not pinpoint them exactly.

hence me thinking if its a family grave, as Owen was a Plumber and father was Bricklayer,

any help greatly appriciated

Yorkshire (West Riding) / John Dobson and Charlotte Dodsworth Hardy ????
« on: Saturday 27 October 12 20:54 BST (UK)  »
Hi all, im wondering if anyone could try help me out on this please, My John Dobson married (Mary ) Jane Cooper in Leeds 1854, it states he is a widow, The only other marriage i can see if for a Charlotte Dodsworth Hardy in 1851 Leeds.

I have John in the 1851 census in York with his father and grandfather, and i know in 1857 and 1861 he is in York, but the rest of his time he is in Leeds , Armley to be precise.

John also has a daughter born in 1852 called Sarah Jane Dobson, but unfortunatly i cannot locate her birth certificate, after numerous attemps to the GRO , ive tried all of them, nothing is matching both females or father listed as John Dobson, trouble is Sarah doesnt know if she is born York or Leeds as the census differes each time., John's next child is William dobson b1855 in Leeds, and that is John and Mary , as with all the other children.

Ive tried to trace Charlotte after the marriage but to no avail, anyone help out please many thanks in advance
