World War Two / Is this the uniform of an aircraftsman in the RAF?
« on: Monday 11 November 19 18:40 GMT (UK)  »
Am I right in thinking that these two photographs show my late uncle, Robert Neilly, in the uniform of an aircraftsman in the RAF? They were both taken in Omdurman, Sudan in 1942 and he was always very partial to his pipe.  ;D  My late mum never told me what her brother did during WW2.  ???

Thanks, KG
