Hi,

My Great Grandad was born 1873.  Could anyone hazzard a guess as to what year this photo was taken?  If anyone could also spruce it up a bit, I'd be grateful.  It's on card and in 3 pieces!

Does anyone know how I can download a copy of the RootsChat advert?  It was A5 size and I used to give it out at my local library.  All used up now and I need more, but can't remember where to find the link.

Hi,

Logging on to my PC this morning, I met with the following message:

'This copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft before you can log on.  Do you want to activate Windows now?'

When I click on 'Yes', I get another message saying 'Windows is already activated.  Click OK  to exit'

When I click 'OK', I'm logged off!!

Can anyone help?

Hi,

A friend is trying to find out if there would have been a write up in the Evening Chronicle about a Rail accident in Newcastle in 1971 when a boy, David YEO fell onto the track.  He was either killed outright, or died of his injuries later.

Can anyone tell me if there is an index to articles from that time period, and where?

Has anyone out there ever had to buy a certificate for someone who was 'Lost at Sea'??

If so, could you let me know what information it gave you?
