The Common Room / Searching correct Ancestral line for Jonathan Bell b 1834 Westmorland

Hi Everyone , Ive become a little stumped on following a particular line, and was hoping for some thoughts from others. (My apologies in advance for the info overload!)
My x 4 Great Grandfather was Jonathan Bell born 1834 Kirkby Stephen Westmorland, England- later living in Durham. (Census Records have stated Westmorland and Durham as place of birth, and resided in Durham in later years)
I have a christening record, dating 1834 and parents as Jonathan and Ann Bell, in Kirkby Stephens, then also a marriage record for Jonathan and Ann Moss in Kirkby Stephens.
Now, the only 1851 Census I can find remotely similar (I have all up until 1861 where he is married and living with his wife) Has a Jonathan Bell, living with parents Jonathan and Ann. It states his birth in Durham, it is the only one I can find where the dates and parents names fit.
If I was to follow this line, it has his father Jonathan, Born in 1800, Workington,Cumberland, to this I can find further records on his christening info.
Though, if I were to try and match it up via parish records, I also find a Jonathan Bell born in Westmorland 1800.
I'm more inclined to go with the Kirkby Stephens Westmorland line, but the families did move around a bit in and around Cumberland and Westmorland... So Im not sure which would seem the most accurate. Also perhaps someone may have better luck finding a Jonathan Bell b 1834 Westmorland in the 1851 census?
Any Help or opinions would be greatly appreciated, I hope that the info has made sense, TIA
