« on: Wednesday 10 August 05 15:27 BST (UK)  »
I am the GG grand daughter of Margaret Watson who married James Murrison on 13 September 1849 in Peterhead.  I would be grateful to hear from anybody who might be researching these names as I have well and truely hit a brick wall.

Thank you  Debbie

(Apologies site timed out so I typed again, please remove)

Further research has revealed that they werent actually living together at this time, so no longer need the look-up - many thanks.

Many thanks for your reply.

Hi cookie

Many thanks for the William Morey death you are right that is the correct one.
We have got his death certificate but as for his daughter Ellen Morey it is a different thing we just cannot find her baptism/birth certificate that is why we are trying to locate the family on the 1851 census hoping she has some brothers and sister so that we could attack it from that direction.

Many thanks again

I am searching for a James Murrison who married a Margaret Watson in Peterhead. He was a seaman. Two of their children were born in Peterhead Harriet 1850 and Catherine Kilgour Shives 1852. The latter is my g.g. grandmother. She then married an Andrew Charles Baulf in Queensferry. I am also trying to find out where the Kilgour and Shives might have come from. Only thought is perhaps maiden names but I have hit a complete brick wall, can anyone help.

Many thanks

Debbie

Sarah Morey aged approx 34 born Cotwell, Horndean or Clanfield
Ellen Morey aged approx 3 born Horndean

Many thanks
