Kind regards

Armed Forces / Need help to identify Gt Gt Grandfathers Uniform
« on: Monday 10 April 17 20:02 BST (UK)  »
Hi All

I am looking for any help to identify my Gt Gt Grandfather Edward Lauderdale's uniform and also anything else I can find out about him. He was b1866 in Northumberland and living in Durham County by the outbreak of WW1.

Thanks
Brian

Hi

Terrance and mary Ann are my 3 x Great Grandparents. I have quite a bit on them in Ireland, although no marriage, but have come to a dead end in India. I did have the same information regarding Mary Ann's possible baptism in Secundebad but for some reason dismissed it after finding further evidence but for the life of me I can't find the information. I am starting to look back at all the info now and re do the research.

Have we been in contact before?

Kind regards
Brian

Just found why I discounted this baptism in 1838. Mary Ann Lee the daughter of Samuel & Caroline was buried 22nd Sept 1840 aged 2 years 9 months

Glad you liked it Craig.

Great effort Bhx7 keep up the good work.

Carolyn  :)

Thanks for the encouragement Carolyn. I have only been colouring pictures for the past 3 weeks as I have loads of old and damaged photo's and wanted to give it a go.

Regards
Brian

Noticed in the second picture the lady is wearing glasses, the first she isn't. Could make a difference to the way she looks as she is squinting in the first photo. It could very likely be the same person in my opinion!

Another quck on from me with some of the marks removed and textured!

Here is a quick attempt from me. Trying to keep it in the style of the era. I have a number of this type of photo from my family and all where taken between 1917 to 1920.
