I have a family on the 1901 and 1911 census living at Pembroke Place and Pembroke Road respectively. Any one have any idea what their nearest RC parish would be?
Mary Duggan was my GREAT grandfather's sister. Unfortunately my grandfather (John/Jack Duggan) is now deceased but I remember my grandmother (his wife) talking about Aunt 'Babe' before.
Since the first message, I have found the birth cert naming Mary Hyland. Will post more this evening!
Last year I was looking up some information about Sean Treacy (of the War of Independence) and I came upon a video on youtube, newsreel footage shot moments after Sean was shot on Talbot Street in Dublin. Any rough idea of a time frame? The books start from the early 1850's and go right up to present day. I haven't had to look up anything outside the city yet but I'll see what's in it.
