« on: Wednesday 19 January 05 15:06 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

Can someone please check me the following names - I am looking for a Charles Walkden born 13th July 1851 in Wardleworth.  I think I have found him in the 1881 census married to a Emma Green aged 31 - this is not my family I am looking for someone else.

Many thanks

Hi Kooly,

Go to   http://lookups.nettedup.co.uk/westriding/ on here are people who hold Census index for Leeds so you will be able to get the refs for the Census - makes it much easier to check.

Some Index are surname only,  some also give Christian name, age and Occ,  I don;t know what the Leeds one holds but two people are offering Look ups in the 1851 Census Index
