wow awesome. i have Bargees that started at Fenny Stratford Bucks and finished at Paddington. just got the canal map for the route. and 1 for Birmingham to Fenny, my family were the Jackmans.

i am going on the 20th for the Preview as i have been invited, by someone that is part of it.

Hi Rooters.

I have been asked to take part in a project concerning London Bargees i am very excited about this as it may aid in research.

there is an Exhibition in Hackney

and i am adding the Link to this  which tells of what it's all about and the Dates it is on.

i have a list of the westminster ww2 civilian war memorial at hanwell west london, also have taken some pictures.

This lists containg 170 names.

Thank you i will look into that. i may have found his living decendants.

and ironically william was the receiver of his brother arthurs medals, who died 30/12/1914

Hi, i am interested in finding out why my 2 X Gt uncle had his war medals revoked.

according to his medal roll they were revoked due to getting into trouble with the civilain police.

the kings regulations .King's Regulation 392 are what is on this roll.

i have been unable to find a service record for him

Hi, Just to let you know i have found my 2 x gt aunt and have been to the convent and visited her grave, which is at the convent.

thanks to those that have helped me in this endevour. i have loads of pictures of her now, and of the old convent.

and also her grave and headstone.
