Flintshire / St Giles's Church Wrexham
« on: Wednesday 08 February 06 18:39 GMT (UK)  »
Does anybody have access to burial records for St Giles's Church in Wrexham?

I have ancestors from Wrexham in 1800s but don't know where they were buried.

Would appreciate some help or advice.

Thanks
Erika

I have an ancestor who is listed on the 1861 census as being a sergeant in the Kings Dragoon Guards.
He was Thomas Griffiths from Liverpool ( aged 24 in 1861).

Is it possible to find records or any information about him or regiment anywhere?

Thanks

Hi manmack

Thanks for the info.

Where do I check now to see if these were indeed the correct people.
Is it the Commonwealth War Graves although I searched there before and nothing turned up?

The William that survived will he be in the medal cards index?

Thanks

Hi harribobs

Thanks for the info.
These brothers are such a mystery, can't locate them anywhere after 1901 census.
Will just have to keep on digging.
Thanks again

« on: Tuesday 31 January 06 21:21 GMT (UK)  »
Does anybody know anything about a coach company that
was owned by Stanley Arthur Plumridge in the Reigate area in the 1920's or suggest where I could possibly search for information about one?

Many thanks
Erika
