Hi Everyone

Am searching for the parents of my ancestor Huston Burns.

I believe he was born in the Castletown area abt 1800, and married Elizabeth Liscoe abt 1825 in the Diocese of Meath.

Some of their children's names were James, Huston (b1825), William, John and Jane (b1829). On Jane's marriage cert 1853, we have Rev William Burns of Wexford, who I believe was her brother.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone

Am searching for parents of my ancestors John Morgan & Mary Glancy.

John was born abt 1785, served in the Cavan Militia 1803-07, then attested to the 52nd British Reg 1807. I believe that his father and a brother were killed serving for their country.

I have no information on Mary.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone

Am searching for family of my ancestor Mary Ann Haley/Healy, who was born in Tipperary approx the late 1820's. She emigrated to Australia possibly in the early 1840's, as she was married in Melbourne, Australia in 1846.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone

Am looking for my ancestors Martin and Ann (Considine) Fitzmaurice, I believe both born and married in Co Clare. They emigrated to Australia in 1875 with two sons, Michael and John.  Ann's parents were Denis & Ann (Duggan) Considine. Have no information on Martin's parents.

Would greatly appreciate any help.

Perusing your details the only link that I can come up with is maybe the William born 1824, is a cousin of my gg grandmother Jane born 1829. Jane's parents were Huston & Elizabeth (Liscoe) Burns. Both of them were born Castletown, C Meath, and were married there. There was also a son named William (confirmed) who was a Reverend at Wexford - one of Jane's brothers.

I have Joseph and Mary as Elizabeth's parents (not confirmed), however everything points that way, and am determining confirmation and searching for siblings at the moment.

Jane married in Bailieborough C Cavan, and then emigrated soon after to Australia.
