I have a family member who married someone called Lyons in London in the early 1950's.
He was indeed very Jewish and she had to change religion.

1939 - there is Marian Baker with the 1919 birth date, with husband, Jack, plus a daughter with mmn of Brooke, and one redacted entry.  All in Birmingham.

I did sort of give that info on reply number 3, but didn't think we were allowed to give away too much info from the 1939 register.

Did she have a daughter called Mavis,born 1939?

I presume you know that John can also be known as Jack?

Have you tried her under the spelling Marian?

You are definitely ordering a death cert in the timeframe that is available in the £2.50 band?

Digital Images are only available for Births 1837-1923 and Deaths 1837-1957.
