Evangeline Johnson was an adopted daughter to Dominicus and Julianna Johnson. She was 18 in 1930.

Same year she is also registrated in Home for Girls in Chicago.
I believe it must be her registrated as Elsie E. Wilkinson in 1974, Elsie E. Geisler 1975 and died in Forest Park 1992. Any verification or further information to this?

Can anyone help me to find Amanda Cleveland, born in the 1890ies. I cannot find her in any census, but the book Montrose memories tells me that she not followed her Family moving from Centerville to Greenland twp, SD in 1913. Later (?) she married Terry.

This shows that there was another child, dead before 1910, that I neither know anything about.

Jacob A. Johnson born July 27th 1871 in Clay county South Dakota, died October 15th 1957, buried Sunset Memorial cemetery, Bismarck ND, was married four times:
   1. m. Carrie Leikvold, (8.10.1865-31.7.1897), 1 child.
   2. m unknown woman, mother to his 2nd og 3rd child,
   3. 1909 m. Sønneva Kristoffersdtr. Kalstveit (1882-1916), buried Pleasant Valley cemetery, SD, 1 barn,
   4. 26.7.1945 m. Hannah Pederson b. Ryan 23.6.1876 in Norway.
 I need help to find the name of his 2nd wife.
In 1900 Jacob lived by his Brother in Law William Sweeley in Spirit Mound, SD. He was widoved.
In 1902 his daughter Margaret is born, in 1905 his Third daughter Elvira. In 1909 he married Sønneve (Senora), so we are seeking his 2nd wife between 1900/2 and 1905/9. I Guess some birth record for her children will be the Place to find her?

The Norwegian Kristen Haakull, born February 7th 1887, went to the US 1908, married his Norwegian second cousin Louise Vestre 1909 and became Chris Vestre in census 1910. I can't find him later, and I believe he died before 1925. His wife is mentioned Louise Westreet in census 1920, she is then divorced. There is therefore a possibility that Chris later called himself Haakull, Hokel. Can anyone tell me when he died?
