« on: Sunday 27 April 14 08:45 BST (UK)  »
I have found 2 deaths for William Brasher in Belbroughton Worcestershire.

The first is 1765 and the second 1777. Is is possible to tell me the age of these two gentlemen when they died. This would help me enormously.

Thank you.

London and Middlesex / John Brasher

I am researching the above person. He was born about mid 1750's and died 1836 in Birmingham. He was a gunsmith who had premises in Birmingham and I also believe he had premises in London. I am looking for any information on his London premises as so far I cannot find any evidence. Also any information on this gentleman would be very useful. Thank you.

Would anyone have a photo of the Masham Hotel Middlesbrough as it was next to the house that my mother was born in in 1915. Any photo would be appreciated but one around that period would be even better.

Many thanks

Derbyshire / Allen deaths
« on: Thursday 18 November 10 18:16 GMT (UK)  »
I need some help looking for a couple of deaths.

Mabel Allen ( born JFM qtr 1889 as Ludford)

David Allen  (born OND qtr 1888)

They are living in Derby in 1911 when they marry and also in Derby in 1923 when their child is born, but he does not survive. They do not appear to have any further children. I cannot trace any deaths for them in Derby. I have sent for a couple of certificates, but they are not the correct ones. These are  David Allen died 1966 in Nottingham and Mabel Allen died 1978 in Redruth.

Any help most welcome.

Can someone explain to me what documentation there will be for someone who has been adopted. Will the original birth certificate be available or if not what will be available as documentation.

Durham / Informants on death certificates
« on: Wednesday 17 November 10 16:44 GMT (UK)  »
I have recently been doing some research for one of my relatives and have sent for the death certificate for an aunt of hers. The informant on the certificate states that he is her nephew, but I cannot verify that this is the case. Why would someone state that they are a relative if they are not? Any help in this would be useful.
