United States of America / Hannah E. EZELL - Wagoner County, Oklahoma
« on: Tuesday 23 May 17 23:12 BST (UK)  »
Looking for the death of Hannah Ella EZELL (Nee ARTHUR and EVANS) .  Last known place of residence was Shahan, Wagoner Co. Oklahoma in 1920.
Findagrave shows Thomas buried in the Shahan Cemetery in 1938, but nothing at all comes up in any records for Hannah (aka Ella or Ellen).  Other members of the EVANS family are also buried in Shahan.
Hannah Ella ARTHUR was born about 1846 in Pulaski, Kentucky and we have her information from marriage to John Logan EVANS to his supposed death in Howell Co. Missouri between 1900 and 1909, then her marriage to Thomas EZELL in 1909 in Howell Co. Missiouri and next appearing on the 1910 census of South Fork, Howell Co. Missouri with new husband Thomas and two of her children to John L. EVANS.  Then she appears as Ella or Ellen EZELL with Thomas in the 1920 Shahan, Wagoner Co. Oklahoma census.  Cannot locate either one in 1930.

Would appreciate any assistance in locating Hannah's death.  Would newspapers of the day have recorded her death?  Thanks in advance.

Hampshire & IOW Lookup Requests / Marriage of John EVANS - St. Mary's Portsea
« on: Thursday 30 March 17 01:34 BST (UK)  »
Can someone help me locate the marriage of John EVANS to unknown wife ca 1706-1707?

Their first child, a daughter Mary was christened 27 Dec 1707 at St. Mary's Portsea - their last Sarah, chr there in 1731.  The EVANS family lived at Portsea and stayed at St. Mary's until at least 1823, probably much longer.

Thank you.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight / John GRAY/GREY burial Portsea
« on: Wednesday 22 February 17 19:37 GMT (UK)  »
John GRAY/GREY was married in 1772 at Portsea to Mary EVANS.  She was buried in 1823 in Portsea (have the record).  John and Mary's last child, James was chr 1788 at Portsea.

Having trouble locating the burial of John - I would think between 1787 and 1840.  He was probably born around 1750.  Can anyone help?

Thank you.

Essex Lookup Requests / Re: William KNIGHT - ca 1765 Berden
« on: Tuesday 03 January 17 01:06 GMT (UK)  »
Mark, thank you for your speedy response!  On daughter Mary KNIGHT/RICKETT/TANT/NEWMAN she states on the immigration record to Australia that her father was a native of Berden.  However, sometimes that took in about 3 parishes or more, so I will follow the William you gave me to see where he leads.

And the added bonus of Ann RAND as well.  I did have a different date and place for her - 11 Jul 1773 at Manuden with Berden.  Looks like I will need to do some elimination to work out which one is correct.  I do appreciate your help very much.
