Hi,
Recently bought a fascinating book on the Winsley, Turleigh area. It details names , land holdings, inventories, land sales etc from Saxon times to Victoria.
My question is, am I allowed to post details of the book here for anyone interested?

Regards,

Another one for the experts....I think the regiment is Somerset Light Infantry...but not sure. As to the rank, no idea, or the date. Has he got a dress uniform on and what colour would that have been?

PS Now I know where to go to get the answers! :)

Have 250th Anniversary Souvenir Book of 1st Btn. Lists all Officers, NCO's & other ranks with group photos from the tour in India. Not the best quality, but I can recognise my Father in them.
