hello I am here now you are talking about my family definiately
right lets start at beginning
We have 2 brothers Tenett & Plato Buckland both of them travelled back & forth to USA
The earliest time  August 9th 1856 on SS kangaroo also loads of Stanley's Cooper's & Hicks & Smith's I have the full list of passengers but as there are like 58 names anyone who can give me a name i will check for them
 Now tenett ( tenant) buckland listed on 1881 Census England married Keziah Smith but they have the date of birth wrong for them it should be 1831 for Tenant & 1832 for keziah
 Nelson is their son Betsey his wife ( also a Smith and her father was James Smith  she was also sister of  Selina William Peggy Harriet Britannia )
eith Smith was Tenant daughter wisdom Smith i am not sure if he was related to either Keziah or James Smith

all the Penfolds I have mentioned who married Bucklands were either the children of Plato or Children of Tenett

Edith that married Wisdom was Tenents Daughter  is that right if so i have the right ones on the 1901 census

Sorry to break into this thread, but are the Milnes you have in your family interests travellers. I will start anew if the answer is yes!

 no my Milnes are from Halifax and have no travelling links that i know of

I have heard my parents talk about a family called Mills who were travellers they lived in Callington cornwall 1930s on wards
