Hi missy

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Hello Ticker,
Thanks so much for getting back to me on the Ferguson's. No, I have been unable to find too much on what I had requested. So am going to go about it a different way now. Am hoping to find my grandfathers siblings , who are deceased BUT am hoping a relative might still be there and looking too!!If that is ok!!
They are Helen Rew [Ferguson] Thomson [husband Samuel Thomson],Isabella Rew [Ferguson] Sneddon[husband John Sneddon], Margaret [Ferguson] Davidson [husband, John James H.G. Davidson], Mary Jane [Ferguson] Morrison[husband Alexander Morrison]
They all lived in Dumbarton,on Burnside,Napier Crescent and Greenend ave.
It might be a needle in a haystack but one never knows unless they try. So here's hoping.
Thanks again.
Carol

Hi there
Finally I have made a connection to someone related to the family, and very glad too!! I have some info on Isabella from someone related by marriage in Australia but have nothing on Margaret and her family. Could you contact me at this address (*). I have been working on this for years and have very little on my grandfathers siblings and their family.
Am very pleased that you contacted me and will try to be as much help as I can. Hoping to hear from you soon.
Carol

Hello Robyny
Thank you for getting back to me really appreciate it, also sorry to hear that being a newbie you don't want to extend your contact.
Actually the info that I have which is limited on Mary Fraser states she was born in Scarva, Down Ireland in abt 1803. Give or take a day or two!!
I have some info on John Ferguson and Isabella Logan Rew , but didn't know that they had thirteen children as all I have is some info on 8 of them.
One being John Ferguson, my grandfather who came to Canada in 1922 and the family [ wife & children followed in 1925]
I have no idea what happened to the rest of his family over in Dumbarton and have tried over the years to find someone over there but with no luck till you contacted me.

I would welcome any info that you have on the children of John & Isabella, ie, where they all lived married, children etc. if that is at all possible. also if you have knowledge of where they are buried that would be a great help to me.
I thank you for taking the time to answer and look forward to hearing from you.
