One of my gt.grandfathers sisters was called Ursula Gaden, b. May 1873 in Burmington, Warwickshire
Her mother Lucy died in 1874, father Amos in 1876. Amos had married a Martha Williams, just three months before he died, he was only 25. Martha had the children put into Ashley Down orphan house in Bristol. When my gt.grandfathers birth certificate was seen to show that he was born only 7 months into the marriage, he was refused admission and sent to the workhouse, at just 5

Ursula was admitted in November 1876 and dismissed in December 1890 into service with a Mrs. Davies of Under Hill House, Near Bridgend Glamorgan.
An 1891 entry on the Wales census is the only evidence I have found past that time.
I have searched the index's for a marriage or death and found nothing.
The spelling of Gaden is extremely variable. My maiden name is Geden. So basically anything goes.

Interestingly everything I have on Ursula, her baptism, birth cert and entries for Ashley Down, never mention a middle name. The writing is so bad on this census I wonder if she took to using her mother Lucy's name as a middle name.
Her sister Sarah Ann left Ashley Down in 1891 and went briefly into service in Bristol, before returning to Burmington, where she subsequently had an illegitimate child in 1899 in the workhouse.
Ursula is a dead end.
Any information or help anyone can give me would be gratefully accepted.
I found an entry 1901 census of an Ursula Bunting and thought eureka, unfortunately when checking the marriage to William found the maiden name to be Hone. I then found a birth entry for an Ursula Hone, what a coincedence!!
