1841 census look up Charles Seal 1823 - 1897

  Charles Seal 1841 census Wrotham Kent look up please, can you help? Charles would of been around 17yrs old. Trying to find his parents.

Had a look in Wrotham for your Charles.  There are quite a few Seal families but I'm afraid I could not find Charles amongst them.

  Thank you for your message Sue, it was good of you to have a look. Charles is there in 1851, but not 1841..... Is there a record further back that might show Charles, do you have any ideas?

Hi Amanda,

The only thing I can suggest (looking at your other posts Jane was born Chelsea) so you could ask for a 1841 census look up for her and see if Charles is there as well.

The other thing you might have to do is get their marriage certificate to get the fathers name of both of them.  Then we can look up the fathers name in 1841 Wrotham and see if we can find him and his family.

Perhaps if someone else reads this they might have a few ideas other than those above.

Thank you for coming back to me. I shall try and see if I can trace Jane, maybe she went back to see her family at that time. I shall also track down the marriage certificate.
 I really hope that you feel better Sue, the flu bug has been awful around here....I am lucky not to have caught it so far.

 1841 Kent look up please any one out there....Charles Seal (born wrotham Kent 1824) He turns up in Northfleet married to Jane Tracey in the 1851 census.

Hope you can help! I don't have much hair left over this one!

Did you manage to find Charles' marriage certificate and get any further info regarding his father etc.
