Looking for anything on Caleb Emerson and Elizabeth McKie they had at least two children in Liverpool 1820's does anyone know who he is. One son Wellington was christened Jan 1827 but doesn't appear anywhere after that. Trying to varify whether Caleb was  a surgeon or not, he travelled between England, Ireland and Scotland going by the places his children were born. His wife Elizabeth and daughter Elizabeth were living in Scotland at 1851 census but no Caleb. Can any one help me

He appears in the Gore's Liverpool Directory for 1827 down as surgeon living at 6 Hunter Street

Did you find anything on Wellington Emerson, Caleb is a very elusive person to find. Wellington is not on the 1841 census with his mother Elizabeth nor is Caleb in Scotland, can't find anything on him except that he and his sister Elizabeth were christened at St Nicholas in Liverpool.
