Bit early for that era, I'm afraid!
I finally worked out how to find info on the collection and this postcard is described thus:
Limehouse Reach, Chatham.
Postcard photograph entitled View from Sun Pier, Chatham comprising scene looking west from Sun Pier towards Chatham Intra and Rochester showing in foreground Borough of Chatham public swimming raft, attendant and rowing boats, in middle-ground group of lighters, brigantines, steam cargo ship and of spritsail sailing barge, in middle distance group of spritsail sailing barges and in distance left to right, Ship Pier, wharves, Chatham Goods Depot and steam cargo ship and in distance Rochester, Rochester Castle keep and Rochester Cathedral. On rear, message from Janet [-] to Master James (Jim) Liddell, Hall Farm, Nedderton, Newcastle on Tyne, Northumberland, mentioning German air raid on Royal Naval Barracks [cf. HMS Pembroke], Chatham [cf. Gillingham] on night of ¾ September 1917. Published by H. Brothers. Postmarked Snodland 13 September 1917. p.17 (L)
Quite informative!
