Hi Elaine,

Thank you for your very kind offer. That is very generous of you.

I have a house in Brigg that I would love a pic of, if that is at all possible, without invading someone's privacy.

I would also love a couple of headstone pictures in Brigg cemetery but I don't have a burial plot so that may be an impossible ask  ;)

Also have a question about Brigg Cemetery - I can't find the actual street address for it. Could you help with this please?

If any of the above are possible/likely/available, I'll post or send you further details.

Again, thank you for your kindness and offer.

Regards
Di

Lady Di, So sorry but Brigg is a little to far out from  Lincoln , I would not be able to just pop over  there,   my offer is for the city of  Lincoln and sort of 5 miles round it , hopefully someone from Brigg will get in touch with you and be able to take photos for you, I hope so.    from Elaine.

Hi Geoff E,

Thanks for both links. I had looked at the map but in detail (looking for a street) and the cemetery wasn't mentioned. I'll look a bit harder next time. ::)  Thanks also for the other link. It was very helpful and interesting. Much appreciated.

Hi Elaine,

It's not a problem. Sorry I had the place/area wrong. I really, really hope to get there in July (from Oz!!) but I'm trying to fit EVERYTHING into 6 weeks so may have to leave some places out  :( but I will keep trying/planning

Thanks for the help

Much appreciated

Di

Hi Eilleen,

Thank you for your offer. My grandfather lived in Lincoln for several years, at various addresses. If any of these are still standing, and you are not too far away, I'd be very grateful for some photos. They are:

273 Monk's Road
50 Storer Street (or perhaps Scorer Street?)
33 Hood Street
23 Tanner's Lane

Thanks for anything you may be able to come up with, I will let you have my email address if you are able to get anything,

Hi Janet

Monks Road, Hood Street, and Tanners Lane are still streets in Lincoln, wether the houses are still there is another matter. Tanners Lane and Hood Street arn't far from each other

Thanks Ricky, my grandfather was there c1912-1919, so I'm looking for photos that would have been around at that time. I guess like lots of other places, there may have been a lot of redevelopment, so anything I can get hold of that has remained unchanged would be a bonus,

Hi Janet

I don't think Monks Road has changed, but its a few tears since I went down there, But Hood Street I would have thought remains unchanged, as If I remember correctly all the house's around there are  terraced . Not so sure about Tanners Lane, as its off the high street, and I know they have had some changes around that area
