I'm trying to find info about the death of Maxwell Richard Franklin who lived in London but was involved in an explosion in Chester. ???

If Maxwell was killed in the explosion i feel sure the incident would have been reported in a  Chester newspaper of the time.If you have the date of the occurrence,you could try emailing or writing to the main library in chester.One with a reference room,first rather than the Cheshire & Chester Archives.All or most old newspapers are on film,so if they have time they may do a lookup for you.If you don't have any luck i am hoping to go  to Chester myself in the next two weeks for a day out.So might be able to help.

for about 200 years.
