1659 Irish Census

I have heard that the  1659 Irish census details or part of are available.  Do you know if that is correct and where the could be found?

apart from this (often)

... not a true census, giving only the names of the titualodoes (those with title to land) and the total number of persons (English & Irish) resident in each townland. ...

you can also find various county data,.....

1659 'Pender's Census':
This was compiled by Sir William Petty who also was responsible for the Civil Survey. There are a number of problems in using the 1659 Census as a source of data. It was based on a poll tax so it is not a full ‘census’ of the population at the time. It only lists the number of adults paying tax ... ie it records the names of persons with title to land (tituladoes), the total numbers of English and Irish living in each townland and the principal Irish names in each barony. Five counties, Cavan, Galway, Mayo, Tyrone and Wicklow, are not covered. The work was edited by Seamus Pender and published in 1939. (See reference NLI I 6551 Dublin).

According to Tracing Your Irish Ancestors by John Grenham Pender's 1659 Census (Co.Antrim) is in Dublin (National Library). Don't know if PRONI also has a copy but PRONI's website might give some details.

PRONI has the 1659 Census for Counties Antrim, Armagh, Fermanagh and Londonderry.
MIC means that the documents are on Microfilm.
