mitchell family, tolpuddle

anyone know anything on this family in time frame 1700-1800.
I have a roger mitchell married before 1750 to a sarah [dont know where or when].
in 1751 roger and sarah are in tolpuddle , he is a shoemaker and they have at least 4 kids, rebecca 1751,john 1756,william 1764, thomas 1760.
would love to know marriage details of roger and sarah and their baptisms/ deaths.
ffhs has nothing on them, dorset opc again nothing, anyone any ideas?

Have you checked the IGI?   There is an extracted record of a baptism of a Rebecca Michel 1750 in Tolpuddle with parents Roger and Sarah. 

The other children are also on the IGI, with variations of the surname, plus a baptism of a Sally Michel, 1748, with parents Roger and Sarah.

i see these mitchell burials in tolpuddle alas no roger but there is a sarah -
charles aged 82yrs buried 24th june 1827
john aged 6 months buried 1st sept 1823
sarah aged 77yrs buried 5th march 1826
thomas aged 72yrs buried 3rd june 1832

Have you visited the Dorset History Centre in Dorchester to search their records?   It is open on Saturdays......parking is much easier then!

Are you related to the John Mitchell who wed Sarah Hammett in Tolpuddle 1828?  I don't know his parents or where he was born, but in 1841 he was 34.

sorry do not know if he is one of mine, but might well be.
my ancestor was maria mitchell, she married 1813 tolpuddle, born 1790 to thomas mitchell and his first wife elizabeth vincent.
thomas had 2 brothers which might also be your john's dad they were william born 1764 and john born 1756, there were also 2 sisters sally 1748 and rebecca 1751, all born tolpuddle and were the kids of roger mitchell and sarah ?
was your john a shoemaker/cordwainer ?
thomas also married ann crocker 1795 , so john could be a child of that marriage
