Yes, I have a few without headstones. However, judging by the quality of the other related family headstones I can't imagine them not putting one up for the folks.

No, I haven't looked for anything else, yet. Will be off to the library next week. Thankfully Wright, in the area, isn't such a common name as Little and Jardine.

In 1841 at Wyndholm (Hutton & Corrie) there was a Duncan family.

Janet Duncan  60
Neither were born in Dumfriesshire
Mary Duncan 20              born Dumfriesshire
James Duncan 40           not born Dumfriesshire
Janet Duncan 10             born Dumfriesshire
There was also a Jane Lockerby 15 an Ag lab born in Dumfriesshire.

You know already of Andrew and Margaret Little at Marinehill (?) in 1841.   A 'couple of doors down' at Corrie Hill was another Little family.

I can see the connections, thank you very much.

Alexander and Janet were from Fife.

I am sure the family at Corrie Hill are my David's family. This is now supported by the Agnes Wright.

Now, what I don't understand is how she fits in. My Agnes Wright was the wife of John Little 77 and mother of my David, born 1800ish.

I found the John Little and family 1841 and listed them in post #7 yesterday.

This is the second thread today  that someone hasn't noticed information that I had previously found. i think I'm getting invisible or something   

Agnes Wright was a farm servant and might well have been a cousin. I think I looked for her but couldn't see a relationship on first trawl.  there is no obvious record for a baptism on SP for her.

The Duncans aren't, I don't think 

The Agnes on the 1841, doesn't seem to have any other record.

Possible Agnes Wrights, spouse of John Little are both Lochmaben:

1766 to John Wright and Jean Halladay
1776 to John Wright and Jean Richardson.

You have said the information you gave me in posting #7, and his posting, was the same. Can you tell me how, please?
