1920s ?
« on: Saturday 27 October 07 12:17 BST (UK) »
Hi

I was recently loaned about 50 family photos originally belonging to my grandmother. Among them was this one of a family wedding. Trying to identify the couple. From the clothes it could be one of 2 weddings one in 1924 and the other in 1930.

Anyone’s opinions on the following gratefully received. Man behind the groom is my great grand father, if this is 1930 he would be 62. The young lady in front of him is his daughter and would be 20 in 1930. If 1930 the groom is likely to be his son.

I think 1930 because if it was 1924 Emy would only be 14 and I can't believe a fourteen year old would be dressed as she is.

If any one would like to restore the picture please feel free

Regards
Alan

Hello Irene,
Have just come across your photo restore. I'm very impressed. Pray tell me how?

Hi Roadrunner, Thanks for the kind words.

There is no magic answer I am afraid. I have only been doing this a short time but practice as much as possible on the photos posted on this board. I still have a long way to go, especially with coloring, but enjoy doing it.
Be warned though it is very addicting  ;D

Hi Irene,
Don't talk about addiction. I think I only ever leave my PC for work or bed. I was interested in what software you were using and I don't doubt for one moment that practice makes perfect.
Thanks
