Looking for Jesse Collins and his wife Rose (Rosa) Collins (nee Ealden)

Hello,

I'm trying to find Jesse Collins and his wife Rose (Rosa) Collins (nee Ealden).

Jesse Collins was born 1888 in Halstead in Kent UK he married Rose (sometimes referred to as Rosa) Ealden who was from Knockholt Kent UK in 1910.

I am led to believe from an elderly relative who use to correspond with them that Jesse and Rose had emigrated to Australia. Unfortunately, my elderly relative cannot remember the address as they lost touch over the years. Possibly, Canberra she thought!

Its not much to go on I know! However, I would like to find out what happened to Jesse and Rose Collins and if they had any children.

JESSE COLLINS died 1933 age 47 Prahran Father: Thomas Collins Mother: Rachel(not stated)

Thelma Mary Walsh died 1982 age 59 Box Hill Father: Jessie Collins Mother: Rose (not stated)
Edna Ruby Foxon died 1985 age 68 Dandenong Father: Jesse Collins Mother: Rose (not stated)
Cyril Jesse Collins died age 51 Park (maybe Parkville) Father: Jesse Mother: Rose Ealden

EDNA RUBY COLLINS married WALTER ALFRED FOXON  1941
JESSE CYRIL COLLINS married PHYLLIS DOREEN ARMSTRONG 1933

Also noticed a Mr JESSE COLLINS age 28 years arriving into Victoria as an Unassisted migrant
aboard 'Indrapura' May 1914. Couldn's see his wife with him on that voyage.

Australian death certificates contain much useful information - parents, children, marriage detail and burial detail, length of time in each Australian state (NB Depends how much information the informant knew, of course)  The victorian ones are available online
http://online.justice.vic.gov.au/bdm/home (although not this weekend as the site is being updated! - as per the notice given). Certificate images cost $17.50 to download (6-7 pounds)

To download without paying an extra $1  for index lookup you need the registration number.  The records given by Raylen have the following reg numbers

INDRAPURA

The "Indrapura" belonging to T.B.Royden & Co's Indra Line. She was used by G.D.Tyser & Co for their emigrant trade from London to Melbourne and Sydney between 1912 and 1914. She was renamed "Port Auckland" in 1916 and torpedoed and sunk in the English Channel on 3rd Feb.1917. Hello  there TravelDog

As a  bit  of  unrelated trivia  here  my  great grandfather Harry Townsend arrived as a 16 year lad  on  this  very  ship along  with  his  mother and 5 siblings  his  father  having arrived earlier on  in  the year with his eldest brother!

I  checked the shipping  page  I  have  but alas  no Collins on  it
