at least his age was consistent 50 in 1841 rounded down 73 in 61

shame that death is before ages were listed int he index would help you be more sure.

re Eliza Bews, i can't see a detah fro her 1866-1920 so unless she lived to a grand old age i think she must have died prior to this.

i can search the fullBMD but before 1866 i have to do it page by page , qtr by qtr

the other option being that she didn't marry Henry Bews at all.
