Hi again
Just to take you back a little further to the 1861 Census
RG9; Piece: 598; Folio: 37; Page: 28 - 32 Frederick Street, Brighton;
Richard Weller, Head, 47, Marr, Butcher, born Brighton
Lydia Weller, Wife, 39, born Brighton
Richard Weller, Son, 21, Butcher,
Winifred Weller, Dau, 12, Scholar,
Elizabeth Weller, Dau, 10, Scholar,
Edwin S Weller, Son, 1,
Thomas H Weller, Son, 3 Months
John P Sanders, Son in Law, 12, Porter
All children born Brighton
Strange entry there for John P Saunders - its quite possible that Lydia is his mum and she has been previously married - possibly the 1851 census will show Richard with a different wife; alternately he could have been adopted by Richard?
