thanks Norrie , none of these dates match up with mine , there are a few different spellings even in the same families ,often the mistake of registars who just wrote it down as it sounded and was never corrected , i will need to do a bit more research , i believe there are a few in Kilmany churchyard but without stones .
 thanks tom .

Hello Norrie , sorry my dates were wrong , the thomas you mention in the edinburgh cesus is the son of the thomas who i believe is buried in cupar , the census confirms he belonged to cupar , i am fairly sure he would have a stone as they were quite well of , what other cems are in the cupar area ?
        regards tom .

Norrie,
I have just found this thread ,and wondered if you had any information on a Robert Robertson b about 1760 and his wife Clementina Stuart b about 1760 , They had five   children I believe , Jane 1789,Agnes 1791, Robert 1793, Elizabeth 1794, and William 1796. Robert senior was  a jeweller in Cupar. If you had a photo of their gravestone I would be very grateful . I think the cemetery is near `wynds`?
much obliged

Hi Norrie
A latecomer to this thread.  :)
Are there any gravestones for OGILVY?  My grandmother, Lizzie Ann Bruce INNES, whose mother was Elizabeth Ogilvy, was born at Coupar Grange in 1877, and Ibelieve there was family there.

Many thanks
Dorothy

You happened to mention other Robertsons last time . Could I trouble you for their names and headstones  if there is not too many for you to detail ? Hoping  I may be able to connect them up .
Much obliged

Hi Dorothy  when I look for Coupar Grange it comes up as in Perthshire

Cupar Cemetery is in the middle of Fife,

Who was Elizabeth Oglivie married to?

Oh.  Sorry!  Elizabeth was married in Dundee in 1875 to Alexander INNES from Banffshire.  He died in Canada in 1890.  Elizabeth was born in Dundee, the daughter of John OGILVY and Elizabeth BRUCE, in 1843.  She died in Balmerino in 1922.
