Very nice pic and an excellent restore!!!

I'll have to put some of my old military pics up the way things are going!!!!

Anyways...I was pointed over here by the fact that someone wanted to know the aircraft...

It's an Avro Lancaster, possibly a BIII.

The shape of the wings, the props and the air intakes to the engines are giveaways. The mass and style of perspex is also a pointer.

Pics like this were (and still are!) quite popular...

Many years of making Airfix kits...both as a youngster myself, and with my young Padawan...(10yrs old...)
