SCEATS form Bath
« on: Monday 24 January 05 08:27 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help with anything more on this Family?

Henry SCEATS married Phoebe Ann PERKINS on 10 April 1842 in Bath
Henry was a widower at the time of the marriage, Occ. Toll Collector
Father's names from the marriage cert are Thomas Sceats & George Perkins

Henry had died before 18 July 1870, the date of his son's marriage.

The marriage was witnessed by Edwin Sceats & Mary Matilda Sceats

The only known child that I have is Edwin John Sceats born 28 Sep 1847 at The Plough Inn, Widcombe.(Where Henry was a Publican)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for the extra lookup but I reckon you got it 1st time, only ever thought it a blip before but Edwin John gave his name as John Edwin on his Marriage certificate, all seems to fit now.
