Possible West Indies birth? Gerald D. Humphreys

Hello!  It was suggested that I place my search here - might be lucky! 

I am searching for a birth cert. for Gerald Davies Humphreys.  He died in 1918 in district of Chelsea North.  He was married in 1888, in Thornton Heath to Florence Aimee Snell.  They had at least 3 children: Frederick (d.1915) Doris and Herve (b.1889, d.1944 in Vancouver, BC, Canada).

I can't seem to find his (Gerald's) birth. He did go to Grenada in 1898 with wife and elder son then returned to England in 1903, alone!

Was he born in England?  West Indies?
Any help in finding his birth and even his divorce from FLorence would be fabulous!

Also can't find Florence's death - but that's another story!

There is an entry in 1891 at 7 Briscoe Road Mitcham for your guy aged 24 born West Indies. He is living with Florence and 2 children Herve aged 1 and Catherine 1 month. The reference is
Piece: 603; Folio 29; Page 57

Dont understand how I could have known that the census details had already been posted. I just thought it confirmed that the birth was definitely West Indies. Also Family search doesnt have a baptism under Carribean Islands.

Looking for info on Gerald Humphreys. Married to Florence Snell. Gerald died in 1917. Florence went to Canada. Any help is appreciated!

That's me!  I am searching EVERY where that I can to find information on Gerald.  No luck so far.
